The Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sport, Vaughan Gething, recently popped into his local Specsavers in Penarth for a routine eye examination.

The practice is accredited by the Welsh Government’s Wales Eye Care Services programme to deliver primary eyecare services on behalf of the NHS.

Frank Moloney, director of Specsavers in Cardiff and Penarth, said: ‘We are immensely proud to be part of the Welsh Government’s eyecare programme, and of the contribution it is making to the nation’s optical health.’
